Governance
platform

The CENNZnet Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO) gives the community the ability to govern and participate in decisions regarding the network at the protocol level.

CITIZENS

WHO ARE THE CITIZENS?

Citizens are the heart and soul of the community.

Their vote will help to decide whether a proposal is executed on the network.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vetoing un-controversially dangerous or malicious referendums

Electing Councillors to represent the Citizens

Lobbying Councillors to submit proposals

HOW DO I BECOME A CITIZEN?

1. COMPLETE IDENTITY VERIFICATION

Identity verification involves connecting your wallet to both a Twitter and Discord account.

Anyone who completes the verification will become a Citizen, with the role also granted on Discord.

WHO ARE THE COUNCILLORS?

Councillors are the trusted gatekeepers to the network, with each Councillor having one key that is a part of the multi-signature system that allows changes to the protocol.

RESPONSIBILITITES:

Submitting sensible proposals

Approving beneficial proposals, thereby transforming them into referenda

Rejecting unsuitable proposals

Conveying the voice of the Citizens

HOW DO I BECOME A COUNCILLOR?

Staying true to our guiding principles of decentralisation and community decision-making, future Councillor elections will be a process built and led by the community via governance, with support from the CENNZnet team.
We anticipate the experience the community gains from governing the network will help build a robust Councillor election system.
